Very Simple Cheese Sauce Recipe

Cheese Sauce Recipe is perfectly served with steamed vegetables such as broccoli or cauliflower. Here is how you can make such a great simple cheese recipe by your own.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 / 4 cup grated cheddar cheese

How to make:
Heat the butter using a medium-size saucepan over low heat. Slowly, put the flour and stir in butter until boiling. After that add milk and stir consistently. When the sauce begin to thicken, add cheese and bring back waiting to boil than remove from heat.

Cheese sauce may be added with other spices to taste such fresh dills, fennel and basil leaves.

Tomato Sauce for Fried Chicken

Recipe for Tomato Sauce for Fried Chicken

Ingredients:
  • 5 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 3 tsp palm sugar
  • 50 ml Chicken stock
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Make into purée:
  • 10 pieces of red chili, seeded & boiled
  • 1 pcs tomatoes, skin off
  • 6 pcs shallots
How to make:
  1. In a medium skillet, heat oil and saute pure ingredients. Afer aroma
  2. comes out add sugar and salt.
  3. Add chicken stock into the sauce and cook over low heat until sauce
  4. thicken.
  5. Remove and serve with fried chicken for dipping.

Sundanese "Karedok" Mixed Salads with Peanut Dressing


What’s cooking today? Yeah, lets make Karedok! Karedok is peanut dressing-based vegetables salad from West Java. Making Karedok is easy and you can make at home. Make Karedok is not difficult. The taste sensitivity; its assortment of vegetables, peanut sauce, a bit spicy [some people can take spicy food], there is a sense of basil, etc. Well, it’s absolutely good! pokonya deh! I used to east Karedok with rice and fried bean curds. So, let go the the recipe how to make Karedok.

Raw ingredients:
100g Cucumber
100g green bean sprout
3 pieces of white cabbage leaves
100g long beans
25g basil leaves

Ground Peanut sauce
2 red chilies
1 clove garlic
5 small red pepper
1 / 2 tsp kencur, kind of ginger
200g peanuts, roasted or fried
1 tablespoon tamarind water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 tsp shrimp paste
150 cc of warm water

Directions:
Set all the ingredients are ready
Cut cucumber, long beans cut small dice.
Cabbage white or sliced cabbage cut thin sliced
Provide quality or pestle and mortar or put chili, garlic, small chilies, kencur, peanuts, brown sugar, salt, shrimp paste and blend.
Add the tamarind water and water continues blending until smooth.
Mix all the vegetables including basil leaves, the correct herbs and ingredients.

If you want, you always can garnish with shrimp crackers and fried shallots.

Coleslaw - Sweet

Ingredients:
1 lb White cabbage, thin sliced
3 oz Carrot, shredded
1.5 oz gm Green onion/chives, chopped
1.5 oz gm Sugar
1 tsp Mustard
1/3 tsp Salt
1/3 tsp Pepper
6 oz Mayonnaise


Preparation:

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrot and green onion.
  • Add remaining ingredient. And mix well.
  • Keep refrigerated for at least 4 hours before using.


Homemade Ranch Dressing

Ingredients

250 ml Mayonnaise
122 ml Sour cream
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Black Pepper Course
60 ml Fresh Milk
1 tbsp. Parsley, chopped1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder

Direction/Preparation:
  • In a mixing bowl, gather all ingredients.
  • Whisk for 2 minutes, scrap down side of the bowl, continue to whisk for additional 2 minutes.
  • Transfer to a container, refrigerated at least 4 hours before using.



Caesar Salad Dressing

Ingredients:

2 cups Olive oil/Vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
2 tsp Anchovies Fillet, canned
1 1/2 tsp Garlic, chopped
2 Tbs Lea & Perrins
1/2 cup Parsley, chopped
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper Course
1 1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
1 ea. Lemon, juiced


Directions/Preparation:
  • In a blender, mix all ingredients.
  • Turn on blender, for first 10 seconds at low speed and 10 second at high speed
  • Transfer to a container, refrigerated at least 4 hours before using.

1000 Island Dressing

Ingredients

500 ml Mayonnaise
1 tsp Capers, chopped
30 gm onion, fine chopped
125 ml Tbs Tomato Ketchup
1 Tbs Chili Sauce
1 Ea. Hard boiled eggs, chopped


Method/Preparation

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients together.
  • Using wire whip, beat until dressing mix well.
  • Add fresh chopped parsley if desired.

Sweet Coleslaw

Ingredient

1 lb White cabbage, thin sliced
3 oz Carrot, shredded
1.5 oz gm Green onion/chives, chopped
1.5 oz gm Sugar
1 tsp Mustard
1/3 tsp Salt
1/3 tsp Pepper
6 oz Mayonnaise

Preparation:
  • In mixing bowl combine shredded lettuce, carrot and green onion.
  • Add remaining ingredient. And mix well.
  • Keep refrigerated for at least 4 hours before using.

LadyHill Hot Sauce

Ingredient

250 gm Butter, salted
250 ml Tomato Ketchup
30 ml Tabasco
1 Tbs Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Granulated Garlic
½ tsp Salt

Cooking Method/Preparation:
  • Melt and heat butter in a sauce pan.
  • Add tomato ketchup and remaining ingredient.
  • Stir consistently to avoid burn in the bottom of the pan.
  • Reduce heat and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
  • Removed from heat for immediate use or can be kept in refrigerator up to 3 days.

Meat sauce - Bolognaise


Ingredient:

1 lb Minced Beef
2 oz Onion, chopped
1 oz Celery, chopped
1 oz Carrots, diced

2 cup Marinara sauce
1 Tbs Thyme
1 Tbs Basil
1 Tbs Sugar
2 tsp Salt

Cooking Method/Preparation
  • Saute minced beef, let until dry. Put aside
  • Heat butter in a sauce pan add vegetables saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add minced beef and remaining ingredient, lastly add sauce. Bring to boil.
  • Reduce heat, Simmer for 10 minutes.

Homemade Honey Mustard Dressing

Ingredient
125 ml Yellow Mustard
150 ml Honey
500 ml Mayonnaise

Preparation:
  • Place honey and mustard in Mixing Bowl and using wire whip mix it 2 minutes or until well blend.
  • Transfer into sealed container and keep in the refrigerator.
Yield: 1.6 liters

Red Sauce - Tomato Base Sauce

Ingredients:
1 Med Onion, peeled and diced
1 Tbs Garlic, chopped
1.5 ltrs Chopped Tomatoes, canned
1 tsp Basil1 tsp Origano
1 tsp Thyme
1 Tbs Chicken Powder
2 Tbs Sugar
250 ml Water
250 ml Tomato Paste
Salt & Pepper to taste


Cooking Method/Preparation:
  • Place tomato in the blender or food processor, blend roughly, put aside.
  • Heat butter in the sauce pan; add onion, garlic cook until aroma comes out.
  • Add tomato paste, seasoning and herbs, cook for additional 2 minutes.
  • Add tomato and water brings to boil, reduce heat simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat for immediate use or keep it refrigerated for 3 days.
