Fried Chicken with Spicy Green Sauce [Ayam Goreng Sambal Ijo]

Recipe for Fried Chicken with Spicy Green Sauce -Ayam Goreng Sambal Ijo.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, cut into 10 pieces
  • 1 / 2 each yellow onion
  • 7 each shallots
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 large tomato green
  • 7 pieces of green chili
  • 1 / 2 tsp shrimp paste
  • 1 each fresh lemon, take the juice only
  • Fresh basil leaves [daun kemangi]
  • Salt and sugar to taste

Cooking method:
  1. Marinate chicken salt and lemon, then fried, set aside.
  2. Blend all ingredients roughly.
  3. Heat frying pan and add vegetable oil to sauté puree ingredients about 4-5 minutes or until the aroma comes out. Add sugar and salt
  4. Sauté the spice blend until cooked, put sugar salt to taste.
  5. Return the chicken into pan, allow the chicken cook and blend with ingredient. Just before removing from heat, add fresh basil leave.
