Delicious Plain Porridge [Bubur Gurih]

100 gm fragrant rice
300 ml chicken stock
50 gm salted fish, roasted
1 tsp celery, thinly sliced
1 tbsp fried shallots
50 gm blinjo cracker
25 gm soya beans, fried
2 each bay leaves

How to make:
  • Wash rice and drain.
  • In a medium sauce pot, add rice and chicken broth also bay leaves, cook on medium heat and stir until cooked and porridge thickened. Add salt if necessary.
  • Place porridge on the bowl; sprinkle it with celery, onion, and fried soy beans.
Sprinkle porridge with salted fish and crackers just before serving.
