Saute Bitter Gourd and Dried Anchovies

Some of us may be doesn't like bitter gourd much because of its bitterness taste. But many say that biter gourd is healthy foods.

If you are one who does not like the bitter taste of bitter gourd, I am too. But do not worry because the bitter taste can be reduced with a few cooking tips.

To reduce bitter taste, put some salt and knead, let stand a few minutes and rinse. After that just cooked and bitterness is reduced.

Let's we look into the recipe of sauté bitter gourd and anchovy.

Ingredients:
2 pieces of medium size bitter gourd
100g Dried anchovy
2 cloves garlic
2cm Ginger root
2 pieces of bay leaf
Salt and pepper
Oil for sauteing

Preparation:
Cut bitter gourd in half, seeded and cut into desired pieces. I usually cut it crosswise as thick 1/4cm.
Wash and rinse salted fish to reduce salinity.
Chop the garlic and ginger and gather all I gradients.

How to cook:
Heat the oil using a wok or frying pan.
Saute ginger and garlic for few seconds and when atoms comes out, add anchovies.
Next steep is putting all ingredients and seasonings.
Sauté until vegetables cook through out. Season with salt and pepper. If necessary, add sugar.
Remove and serve with hot rice and other side dishes ....
