How to Make Basic Tomato Sauce For Pastas - Tomato Sauce is usually
served with various types of pasta such as spaghetti, fettuccine,
penne and macaroni. Although tomato sauce is identical and suitable
for cooking pasta, it also can be served with pan fried veals and
schnizel (meat or chicken-fried with a mixture of flour and bread
crumb flat shape). Tomato sauce (red sauce, marinara sauce, concase)
is very popular as a basic sauce that can be combined with various
meats, chicken, seafood and vegetables dishes.

Tomato sauce can last for 3-4 days in the refrigerator. So to ease
advance cooking, sauces can be prepare in advance and stored in the
refrigerator or in freezer.

Here is the recipe to make tomato sauce, it is not difficult.

Ingredients:

1.5 kg ripe tomatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 piece of onion, finely chopped
2 garlic, crushed and chopped
1 teaspoon dried leaf origano
1 tsp sugar
2 tablespoons tomato paste
A bay leaf

Cooking method:

Boil water, then add tomatoes until the open. Oh yes before slicing,
tomatoes should be easy to peel the skin for later after boil.

Remove tomatoes and put in ice water, drain, peel the skin and roughly
chop.
Heat oil and saute onion put tomato paste and chopped, reserved
chopped tomatoes.
Add bay leaf and cook over low heat. Add water if too thick.
If it thickens, remove and season with salt and sugar.

Tomato sauce is suitable for any type of pastas. Tomato sauce is also
a healthy which is good for dieting.
