Ingredients:
- 1 kg Fragrant rice, wash and drain
- 1.25 ml each fresh coconut milk or packed
- 2 each bay leaves
- 1 cm galangal [lengkuas]
- 2 each pandan leaves
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- Fried shallots or onions
Cooking method:
- In a large stock pot, bring to boil coconut milk, bay leaves, pandan leaves, galangal and salt.
- Ensure that to prevent coconut milk for over boil. In this case, you need to stir consistently.
- Add rice and cook until liquid start to dry, reduce the heat and continue cooking until the rice cooked.
- Serve with fried shallots as garnish. Fried shallot also add more flavor to the Nasi Uduk.
