Mutton Soup Recipes Johore Style
Warning! This recipe is not recommended for those who have a problem with cholesterol or in diet program.
Frankly speaking, I rarely cooking mutton soup at home. I would normally buy mutton sop and mutton satay outside. It seemed that eating outside is nicer than cooking by self. Moreover, eating mutton sop is the right time during cold whether.
This time I wanted to share a mutton soup recipe by using ingredient that are not difficult to get. Here is the recipe, ingredients and how to cook it:
Ingredients:
2 liters of water to boil
1 kg mutton (which there are more good bones), boiled until tender and water to 1 liter of boiled water
1 liter of liquid milk
6 pieces cloves
1 cinnamon stick (about 10 cm)
Spices:
4 cloves garlic
8 cloves red bwg
1 / 2 tablespoon nutmeg powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cm galangal,
2 cm ginger
oil for sauteing
Salt to taste
2 bay leaves
1 stalk lemongrass
1 tbs sugar
How:
Boil mutton until tender with cinnamon, cloves ginger galangal.
Stir-fry ground ingredients until fragrant and then add into the stew meat
After that add remaining ingredients into stock pot and simmer until taste completely blend.
Serve white rice or rice cake.
