Braised Fish Head ala Menado

Recipe for Braised Fish Head ala Menado

Ingredients:
  • 1 pcs Head snapper / grouper large
  • 4 pcs of red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 red chili, finely sliced
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 cm ginger, crushed
  • 2 pieces lime leaves
  • 15 pieces basil leaves
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, white part, crushed
  • 1 liter water
  • salt and pepper
Cooking methods:
  1. Wash and clean the fish head. In medium stack pot, braise the fish covered until cooked
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients into fish and and continue to cook. Correct the seasoning with salt and pepper.
Remove and serve hot with steamed rice and other accompaniments dishes.
